The JSI partnership brings to TASC 2 a wide range of health care management and service delivery expertise as well as a very successful TASC 1 implementation experience. In TASC 1, JSI managed more than 40% of the Task Orders awarded under the project. The JSI team includes subcontractors and collaborating agencies representing a balance of large and small agencies which will provide USAID, host country colleagues, and host country populations, who ultimately benefit from TASC activities, with responsive, cost-effective, and high quality services. Under JSI’s leadership, this carefully selected team will ensure quick response, maximum flexibility, decision making in the field with home office support, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality client-centered services. JSI, as the prime contractor, will continue to a ensure seamless blending of this expertise brought to the partnership by these diverse organizations.

(JSI) is a leading international public health consulting company, working in a wide range of areas, including maternal health, child health, nutrition, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and STI, family planning, health financing, policy development, training and capacity building, organizational development, social marketing, and public-private partnership. JSI’s partners are also leaders in their fields. Boston University brings the expertise in applied and operations research. Brooks and Littlefield is a Vietnam veteran-owned business with extensive experience in information technology, internet, intranet, extranet, website, and facility and security planning. The Futures Group International has expertise in policy, social marketing, communications strategy, demography, and quality assurance. Harvard University will support health sector reform, child health, child survival and infectious disease. HT&T Travel, a minority-owned travel agency, which has been providing travel support to JSI for many years, will enable efficient and cost-effective travel planning and logistics support. IBM Business Consulting has expertise in training and institutional development, and business practices. Imagine One, a HUB Zone enterprise, brings expertise in training, distance learning, and database development. Initiatives Inc, a small business, has expertise in capacity development, community development, and organizational development. Manoff Group, a woman-owned organization, provides leadership in community and behavioral change, child health, and nutrition. Social Sectors Development Strategies Inc. (SSDS) is a network of professionals working on a range of issues including health policy and health sector reform.
In addition, nine agencies who are committed to collaborating with JSI in implementing the TASC 2 project, contribute a wealth of experience in the areas of health technology, prosthetics, management of essential drugs, medical supplies and equipment, knowledge management, malaria and disease control, evidence-based research, environmental health, maternal and new-born care, civil society and governance, and literacy and health. The collaborating agencies in the JSI team are 1) American College of Nurse-Midives, 2) American Institute for Research, 3) ARD, Inc. 4) Camp, Dresser McGee, 5) Crown Agents, 6) ECRI, 7) Edelmen Communications International, 8) Malaria Consortium, and 9) World Education, Inc.
