The Abt TASC II IQC Team includes Abt Associates, American Manufacturers Export Group, Bitran & Associates, CARE USA, Global Microenterprise Initiatives, Howard-Delafield International, Population Services International, Social Sectors Development Strategies, Inc., and Tulane University. We are dedicated to supporting USAID Missions and Bureaus as they implement their strategic objectives to reduce unintended and mistimed pregnancies; maternal, infant, and child morbidity and mortality; HIV transmission; and the threat of infectious diseases. In order to meet these objectives, we use a comprehensive and integrated approach to ensure that interventions:
Address issues at all levels of the health system: policy, health service delivery, community, and individual;
Utilize international best practices;
Are cost-efficient and equitable;
Are country specific and locally relevant;
Integrate existing health services and are not vertical in nature;
Achieve significant scale;
Build capacity for increased sustainability;
Complement existing efforts, including USAID and other donors.
We offer a team that demonstrates our breadth of technical expertise, our commitment to high quality work, and our ability to respond quickly to requests for technical assistance in areas of policy reform, behavior change, service delivery, training, commodities, and applied research. Our partnership offers strong, experienced management and an extensive network of experts that can work collaboratively toward completing individual tasks in a timely, cost-effective, and high quality manner.
